  I am sitting here on The Patio (engorged and distended) on a beautiful, sunny, early fall afternoon. My friend Liz ordered the "Afternoon Tea". She is the reason I am here. She raved about The Dunbar House as she makes it a point to stop in on her annual vacation to The Cape.
  
  So, when she mentioned Dunbar on the phone, I started looking at reviews and was SHOCKED when I saw a ZAGAT symbol with a sub-par customer rating (for Zagat) of 3.6 stars. Liz was also astounded.
  
  So, for fun, we began reading the reviews...
  
  May I just say based upon my personal opinion of ONE afternoon - and my friend's annual visits, The Dunbar House is clearly nothing short of an EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE.
  
  The key here is EXPERIENCE. It's more than just a sandwich in Sandwich. (:
  
  I recommend the Dunbar Tea - INCREDIBLE.
  Also, anything with home-made BREAD. :)
  
  Cherie is absolutely WONDERFUL.
  Please ask for her - but only if you are generous. Cherie is patient, gracious and refined; an absolute joy to interact with at every turn.
  
  Located in the Town of Sandwich - the sandwiches themselves are unique and tasty, but the EXPERIENCE is unforgettably charming.

  The tea was great and the food was relatively good. Ordered one of the afternoon tea specials. Desserts were my favorite part. Very quiet and nice area.
